MAKEO X ESPIRITU CLUB
Makeo @makeo.top and Espíritu Club Collab was born from a visit to Eme's studio in Sabadell. After several hours sharing our passion for fashion and discussing the industry, we decided to prepare a collaboration featuring clothing that Makeo has had in their warehouse for years. We proposed transforming these pieces so they don't become deadstock and can be showcased once again.
Through this collaboration, we connect some values that both projects share:
- Authenticity: maintaining the originality of the garments while giving them a fresh perspective.
Re-circular: extending the life of textile materials in an original way.
Re-educate: sharing the social and geographical context of waste to drive a change in fashion consumption habits.
We've created 13 unique pieces, making the most of what the original items had to offer. From buttons, zippers, and elastics to cords, etc.
The photos were taken around Makeo's warehouse, aiming to relate to Eme's approach to selecting their garments – within a 15 km radius of their location – and to showcase the surroundings.
