Espíritu Club was born to connect with the world through sustainability and originality, creating meaningful relationships that illuminate our purest selves. The brand is rooted in the essence of community building and strives to be reflective both of its surroundings and itself, proving that alternative approaches to fashion production and consumption can lead to a fairer future.
By repurposing surplus textiles and industry waste, Espíritu Club transforms these materials into unique garments through upcycling techniques. Each project is developed with a focus on spiritual introspection, interpersonal relationships, and community creation.
Transformation, adaptation, and change are fundamental pillars of the brand, allowing it to evolve constantly in response to emerging concerns and needs.
A significant portion of the materials used comes from Lima, Peru, specifically from the areas surrounding the Gamarra manufacturing hub. There, the leftovers from textile productions by fast fashion brands are purchased. However, this environment also highlights the precarious working conditions of people who rely economically on the sale of these materials.
Espíritu Club aims to shed light on this global issue, which exists not only in Peru but in all countries where the textile industry is one of the few employment options for people with limited economic resources. These communities often face labor exploitation and even child labor.
