Espíritu Club was born from the desire to reconnect with the world through design using organic textile waste from the fashion industry and through the research of the Shiringa biomaterial using artisanal methods; to cultivate environmental and social connections that reflect our own essence.
An important part of the materials they use comes from Lima, Peru, specifically from the areas surrounding the Gamarra textile production hub. There, they source textile surpluses from different fashion brands that produce in the area.
Shiringa is a natural latex sourced from Iberia, Madre de Dios, Peru. It is extracted from the Shiringa tree by artisan Jorge Escompani and subsequently processed and smoked using cotton textile waste from Gamarra, Lima, Peru.
Deeply rooted in collective creation, the brand draws inspiration from its surroundings and from the people who make it possible, demonstrating that there are alternative ways of producing and consuming fashion that can lead us towards a fairer and more conscious future.
